No matter where you are on life's journey, we welcome everyone back home at Cornell, to celebrate a special time and a special place.
Welcome Home to our 30th Reunion!
Our 30th Reunion Details
Our headquarters will be in the Robert Purcell Community Center (RPCC) on North Campus. This is where you are going to pick up your class reunion registration and hang out with your classmates throughout reunion, especially in the evening. When you arrive on campus, this is the first place you should go.
Unlike previous reunions when our housing and headquarters were in the same place, our Housing will be separate and our primary housing is High Rise 5. If you're interesting in securing a hotel room, please contact hotels directly. Ithaca has gone through a hotel boom in the past few years (as has Ithaca itself), so you can find space.
If you'd like to be housed near friends, we'll try our best to honor your request, as long as you've contacted everyone you want to be housed near and that they are all registered by May 25. Please contact Scott Pesner, who is handling the housing for our class.
What Your Registration Includes
We are offering three reunion packages. Your reunion chairs have worked diligently to keep costs down, and the fees have increased only $10 since our last reunion. There are three reunion packages:
- Full Weekend (arrive Thursday, leave Sunday)
- Partial Weekend (arrive Friday after breakfast, leave Sunday)
- Mini Weekend (arrive Saturday after breakfast, leave Sunday)
We are serving dinner on Thursday night (Cornell comfort in headquarters), Friday night (BBQ on Libe Slope), and Saturday night (Willard Straight Hall). Both Friday and Saturday night dinners are preceded by cocktail receptions. We are serving breakfasts on Friday and Saturday morning (tent on the soccer fields just north of RPCC) and on Sunday (in the Robert Purcell Eatery). Lunch is on your own, as we wanted you to have free time to determine your daytime schedule and to go back to your favorite restaurants. In addition, there is a buffet lunch available to all alumni in the Terrace Restaurant in the Statler that your reunion chairs have experienced and recommend. You'll be able to load up your tray just like when you were an undergrad and pay one fee at checkout.
Your registration also covers the costs of additional food and beverages in headquarters (you know from our previous reunions we keep you well fed), reunion souvenirs, and University costs, such as the tent parties, lectures, and campus bus transportation through the weekend.
If you have questions about registration, please contact our class registration chair Melissa Hodes Friedenberg.
