Welcome to the Coastal Connecticut Cornell Club!

Community

Cornellians,

Welcome to CCCC. Over the years, the Club’s Program Committee has tried to keep our events varied, interesting, and educational. One-of-a-kind programs have ranged from touring Groton’s Submarine Force Museum and the Nautilus, hosted by East Lyme High School and Cornell’s own LCDR Ben Amdur, Cornell Class of 2000, to an evening with Peter Yarrow (Peter, Paul and Mary), Cornell Class of 1959. Traditional themes continue on annually, events such as Zinck’s Night, CCCC’s yearly December holiday party, Cornell football in New Haven or Providence and, of course, hockey with such rivals as Yale, Brown, and Quinnipiac.  Check out the current Event Schedule on this website for details on upcoming happenings.

We try to plan things 6 to 12 months in advance. Unfortunately, athletic events have to wait until schedules come down from Ithaca.  If you have an idea you would like CCCC to undertake or you are interested in hosting an event yourself, please contact me. The more the merrier when it comes to event ideas and planning.

Best,

Bob

Taste of New Haven: Private Food Tour

Saturday, June 3, 2017

Location: Tour start location to be announced

Time: 3 PM to 7 PM

Cost: $65 plus tax

Maysha Zakrevsky, Class of 2006, professionally organizes food tours for the Taste of New Haven. She has put together a very special, private tour for CCCC members. Join us as we eat and drink our way around Downtown New Havens Theater District, visiting restaurants such as Bar, Temple Grill, Oaxaca Kitchen, Wine Thief, and K2 sampling everything from beer to ahi tuna sliders. There will also be a quick detour to Yales Old Campus to see how other Ivy Leaguers live. Price of admission includes all food and drink tastings for the evening, which many find to be more than enough for dinner.
