About the Cornell Club of Wisconsin

Welcome to the Cornell Club of Wisconsin

We are an alumni club serving all Wisconsin residents and visitors who have Cornell connections.  The club sponsors educational, social, networking and community service events that strengthen the bond between local alumni and the University, foster camaraderie with fellow Cornellians, and build the visibility of Cornell in the community.  The club also plays an important role in helping the University to recruit new students, and provides scholarships to highly qualified Cornell students.

Please check out our Calendar for many exciting events throughout the year.  Our club uses a ‘Dues Free’ approach, so all alumni in Wisconsin are automatically members of the club.  We hope to see you at a Cornell Club of Wisconsin event soon!

Come join the Cornell Club of Wisconsin for our annual family fun picnic at Fox Brook Park in Waukesha. There are plenty of fun activities for the family to enjoy including swimming, paddle boating, hiking, biking, and horseshoes. We have a covered pavilion so there will be plenty of fun to be had rain or shine.

We will also be sending off the entering students and their families before they head off to Ithaca. Share your stories from your time on the Hill and provide your advice to a new group of Cornellians! Light food and drink provided. Registration details to come shortly.

Message from the President

Dear Wisconsin Cornellians:

Welcome to the Cornell Club of Wisconsin website.  You will find news about our club, our events and our mission here.

Our club is committed to providing a variety of activities to appeal to our diverse alumni, with graduates from the 1940’s through the present.  Some of our activities not only bring the group together for fun, but generate scholarship funds which are designated for Wisconsin students at Cornell.  In addition, we reach out to potential future Cornellians through CAAAN (Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network) and through community service.

Whether you are new to the area or a lifelong resident, you’ll find that the Club has something to offer – and there are always opportunities to enjoy one of our favorite past-times, reminiscing on the formative years we spent in Ithaca.

More information on our events may be found on this website, or through Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/groups/WiscoCornellClub/ and https://www.facebook.com/groups/madisoncornellclub/).  We hold events in both Milwaukee and Madison.  The University also sends out event announcements for us through e-mail, so please make sure your contact information is up to date.

Thank you for taking the time to join us.  Our Club serves over 1500 alumni in Wisconsin, and we could not be effective without the support of our officers, directors and event coordinators who are listed on the Community tab of this website.

We look forward to seeing you at a Cornell Club of Wisconsin event very soon.

Warm Regards,

Elizabeth Forman ’83
President, Cornell Club of Wisconsin
