Over the years, community participation among Cornellians in Utah has ebbed and flowed. Out here in Utah—far beyond Cayuga's waters—around 1,100 Cornell alumni make their home, with around 600 that permit e-mail contact. Of these, some 300 live in Salt Lake County. Our relatively sparse numbers pose a challenge to any efforts to knit our community more tightly together. However, with the advent of social media, it’s now easier than ever to reach out to fellow alumni, and the "club" has enjoyed increased interest as of late. With your participation, we can make this club a vital one!
Our banner event each year continues to be the "International Spirit of Zinck's Night," a Cornell tradition observed the world over each October. Watch our event calendar for more details on this year's Zinck's Night, as well as a variety of events both with fellow Cornellians and with other Utah-area alumni groups.
Most of our online interaction occurs in our Facebook group, which we invite you to join! And if you just "don't do" social media, the next-best way to keep up with club activities is to watch this Web site and your Inbox (and make sure that you keep your contact information up-to-date with Cornell!).
