Letter from the President
Dear Fellow Alumni,
Welcome to the Cornell Club of Arizona, the alumni organization for alumni of Cornell University!
Whether you’re a current student, the parent of a student, a recent graduate, or one of our senior statesmen, I invite you to enjoy the fun and purposeful events we plan each month. We offer a range of opportunities to connect with fellow Cornellians and work elbow-to-elbow on worthwhile causes. Join us as we toast at Zinck’s Night, relish a musical performance, or sort shelf-stable food donations at St. Mary’s Food Bank for Cornell Cares Day. We’ll help you find ways to network and support your community with donations of your time and talents. Being a Cornell Ambassador through the CAAAN organization can make a big difference in a young student’s quest for knowledge. What better way to encourage prospective students on their journey to Cornell University than to answer their questions about campus life and share your own stories?
Ours is a participation-model Club, which means that we do not collect dues from Arizona alumni. Instead, we share the costs of producing each event with attendees. We endeavor to offer special events at a range of price points, in an effort to attract a range of participants. If you’re interested in introducing a new idea to our Club, we encourage you to attend our Board meetings, which generally take place about every six weeks, and are usually held in Old Town Scottsdale. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information and find us on Facebook for all the latest news about our events: https://www.facebook.com/Cornell-Club-of-Arizona-126897080715093/
Thank you for your interest. I look forward to seeing you at an event soon!
