News from the CACO Board

We’re really excited about two big upcoming events: our CACO Annual Meeting and Cornell Volunteer Leadership Week. Our Annual Meeting will be held virtually on Monday, March 21, from 7:00-7:45pm EDT. If you haven’t already, be sure to register here in order to get Zoom details as well as submit your questions in advance for me and the executive committee. We hope you’ll join us for a chance to hear directly from the board on more detailed updates and news. Make sure this Monday, March 21 is marked on your calendar!

Later next week, after the Annual Meeting, I’ll be traveling up to Ithaca for Leadership Week, which is a weekend-long event combining Trustee-Council Annual Meeting (TCAM), the President’s Council of Cornell Women’s Symposium (PCCW), and Cornell Alumni Leadership Conference (CALC). For those of you who are attending in person, I’m looking forward to seeing you for perhaps the first time in over two years! Keep an eye out for other CACO board members sporting their CACO pins or name tags as well. If you’d like to join us in Ithaca, please refer back to your registration email for your personalized registration information. If you can’t be there in person, there is still time to register for the online programming, which includes the State of the University address by President Pollack.

Whichever way you choose to join us, I’m excited to connect with you.

Launching CACO Office Hours

Later this spring, CACO will be hosting informal “office hours” on specific officer roles and positions. Hosted virtually, you’ll get the chance to meet CACO Board Members and fellow class officers in your role, ask questions, or swap advice. Topics for the office hours were chosen based on the feedback we received from the class officer survey you completed last fall. More details will be provided as we approach the first session.
