Hello Class Officers! As we approach the holiday season, I write to share a few updates and resources for you and your classmates.

Trustee Council Annual Meeting (TCAM) Update

The Cornell Association of Class Officers (CACO) Board held a meeting to coincide with the annual TCAM weekend in late October. In addition to hearing from President Pollack, University leaders, and students (see here for a few recordings), the Board hosted a successful student-alumni networking event to promote intergenerational mentorship, leadership development, and engagement after graduation. CACO Board members discussed many exciting initiatives planned for the next couple of years lead by our five committees:

Class Officer Training
Communications
Diversity & Inclusion
Finance & Treasury
Students & Young Alumni

Continue reading this edition of the newsletter as well as future issues published every other month to keep current on Cornell/Class Officer happenings. As always: feel free to reach out to us with questions or ideas at caco@cornell.edu.

Thank you for your service to your class and to Cornell!

All my best,
Julie Vultaggio ’02

The Good Cornellians Can Do

Ezra Cornell wrote about his intention “to do the greatest good” for humanity, and why he decided to found a university “where any person could find instruction in any study.”  When Cornellians serve their communities, they carry Ezra’s founding ideal out into the world. Share your story to help us understand and celebrate the vastness of the good Cornellians can do.

Diversity Alumni Associations at Reunion

Reunion 2024, scheduled for June 6-9, will welcome back our diverse alumni associations including the Cornell Asian Alumni Association (CAAA), the Cornell Black Alumni Association (CBAA), the Cornell Latino Alumni Association (CLAA), the Cornell Native American Alumni Association (CNAAA), and Cornell Pride, with special events for Cornell Military Network (CMN), First Generation alumni, and Cornell Mosaic. Stay up-to-date on programming by classes of 4s and 9s class and group-specific plans by visiting the Reunion website.

Alumni Business Directory

Alumni can now add their own businesses to CUeLinks (Cornell University: Learning, Informing, Networking= Knowledge Sharing), Cornell’s exclusive university-wide knowledge sharing platform. Businesses will be reviewed by administrators and approved within 3 days. Students and alumni can also find and post jobs on the site.

Alumni Affinity Programs Directory

Alumni Affinity Programs launched a directory for alumni to access a network of organizations based on shared interests and activities, including performing groups, industry-based affinities, teams, clubs, and more. Are you part of an active alumni affinity group? Email affinity@cornell.edu to be included in the alumni affinity directory.

Cornell Military Network

The Cornell Military Network (CMN) exists to organize and empower military-affiliated alumni across generations and support its member’s educational, professional, and social advancement.
