Birds of the Pacific Flyway

What birds are in your community, where do they migrate, and how is Cornell addressing complex issues facing coastal communities? Join the Cornell Lab of Ornithology online to learn what tools are available to help you find, track, and identify birds, and how a Cornell Lab initiative is helping conserve critical habitat for migrating shorebirds in Latin America.

We’ll be joined by Cornell Lab staff Brian Sullivan, Digital Publications Lead, and Osvel Hinojosa-Huerta, Director of the Coastal Solutions Fellows Program, as they take us on a journey from our backyards through Central and South America. Natalia Martinez, Coastal Solutions Fellow, will invite us to an island in Chile where she is spearheading an interdisciplinary effort to solve challenges for shorebirds that spend the summer months in North America.

This event will be recorded.
