An Art Gallery Tour with Artist Andy Moerlein

Have you ever considered how the life of an artist in pursuit of their craft is a study in entrepreneurship that might be applicable to our own work, network, and lives? Join us for an artist-led conversation and tour with sculptor Andy Moerlein, MFA '82 at one of Boston's largest and most notable galleries, Boston Sculptors Gallery, as he guides us through his recent work, Ten Thousand Labors, and shares anecdotes from his career.

This exhibit and tour will provide an excellent opportunity for everyone to network and learn from the experiences and observations of others who share an appreciation for the arts. In addition to an engaging and thought provoking conversation, light cheese and refreshments will be provided.

Throughout his career of over 40 years as a scholar of the arts, Mr. Moerlein has pushed the boundaries of artistic investigation by pulling inspiration from history, nature, and the world around us. During a unique and personal conversation, Mr. Moerlein will lead a private tour of his recent exhibit, Ten Thousand Labors, share stories of his life and career's trajectory after his time at Cornell, and discuss how the Boston art scene has sustained and impacted his and his peers' careers.
