In the market or simply curious about environmentally friendly cars? If yes, tune in to our webinar with Sharon Kirby to learn about what to consider when shopping for an environmentally friendly car: comparisons of costs, features, incentives and range for hybrids, EVs and PHEVs (plug-ins).

To help sort through all of the available options, Sharon will present a 20 minute overview of the market followed by a 30 minute Q&A.

For the Q&A, Sharon, owner of VW ID.4 EV and Volvo S-60 PHEV, will be joined by long-standing owners of EVs and PHEVS, Quentin Prideux, Tesla owner, and Raina McManus, Mini-Countryman PHEV owner.

About the presenter:
Sharon Kirby, Wellesley resident for over 20 years, worked in non-profits including Wellesley College Career Center, New England Booksellers Association, WGBH radio. Currently employed at Natick Community Senior Center, planning and leading events including meditation, Mondays at a Museum, Day Trips and Weekly Walks. It was here she got the inspiration to put together this PPT and buy an EV because the town of Natick offers a free EV charger. She now charges her car up at work!

Some of her other volunteer environmental work has been with Sustainable Wellesley; Town of Wellesley Climate Action Energy Coaching; Town of Wellesley RDF and Wellesley Public Schools for Food Waste Recycling; 350MA, Citizens Climate Lobby supporting a carbon tax.
