   Sara Roccisano ENG '02

Some could argue Sara was top of her game with the 20+ year renewable energy and finance career she built for herself in New York City after graduating from Cornell – including her time on Wall Street in investment banking and private equity for over a decade and as an early entrant into the field of renewable energy. In doing so Sara closed over $12 billion worth of projects, deals, and advisory mandates across the renewable energy spectrum and in energy and infrastructure. However, during her tenure, Sara lost her job several times - some for extended periods of time – forcing her to navigate the landscape in trying to find herself a new opportunity.  In 2022, she decided to actively walk away from her career and life she knew in New York City and has transformed herself into an International Public Speaker, Travel Storyteller, and Author with the first of her trilogy of travel adventure memoirs set to be released in 2024. She is the founder of the award-winning travel inspiration company, Embolden Adventures
