Welcome to the Cornell Club of Hong Kong!

About the Cornell Club of Hong Kong

The Cornell Club of Hong Kong was founded in 1988 by a small group of alumni, including Janice Chen, Lisa Colacurcio, William Lim, Howard Miller, Robert Miller, Martin Tang, and Albert Wu. Prior to that time, the Club existed as a loosely affiliated group of graduates who would meet when someone from Cornell visited Hong Kong.

Under the leadership of the past chairmen, the Club has now grown in both membership size and in the number of activities it hosts. The Club holds numerous social events for Cornell alumni residing in Hong Kong throughout the year, as well as some community service activities. The Club maintains one of the strongest alumni relationships with Cornell campus, making sure that Hong Kong is always a destination for visiting administrators and faculty. Through the active leadership of the past chairmen and hard work of the members, the Club has solidified the Cornell spirit in Hong Kong.

Previous chairmen have been Robert W. Miller '55, Martin Tang '70, Danny Tam '87, Peter Von Huene Chan '87, Duncan Chui '91, Bobby Tsai '83, Mark Yuan '96, Brian Lu '98, Stanley Sun '00, Sam Lim '97, Greg Yu '99, Victor Lam '03, Raymond Kwok '02, Alexander Ting '11.

The Club has always closely cooperated with Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network (CAAAN) in spreading the Cornell name as well as bringing in CAAAN volunteers. The Club also maintains a close relationship with the Cornell Hotel Society in Hong Kong, holding jointly organized functions throughout the year.

For more information about the club or how you can get more involved, please feel free to contact any of the Club Directors or write directly to info@cornellclub.org.hk.
